Bringing together organizations such as Friends of the Detroit River, the Sierra

Club and Michigan Hemp, Detroit’s first ecology fair, the Palmer Park Green

Art Fair, will unite people, organizations and businesses with the central theme

of a green, renewable, and environmentally-conscious world.

Planned to be the first of an annual gathering, event organizer Mike Whitty

says of the event “Who knows where this will go.  Every year we will get bigger

and better, but I am pleased with how many people are eager to join in putting

this inaugural showing together”.
